An extrasolar ringed gas giant planet as depicted from the equatorial region of an orbiting moon. Viewed from this latitude the giant planet?s ring system would appear nearly vertical. The moon has a thin atmosphere created by erupting geysers on its surface. Edwin Faughn © 2004
