RINGED GAS GIANT 2

A ringed gas giant planet as it might appear from one of its orbiting moons. An observer on one of these moons would witness the giant planet go through spectacular phases just like our own Moon but on a much grander scale. From this perspective the parent star is behind and to the left of the viewer and the phase of the planet is nearly full. Edwin Faughn © 2004
