GLOBULAR STAR CLUSTER 1

Globular star clusters are some of the most beautiful and intriguing objects in the heavens. These clusters are gravitationally bound and contain tens of thousands to as many as a million stars. One of the best known is M-13 in the constellation Hercules and can be easily seen with the aid of a small backyard telescope. Featured in SKY & TELESCOPE magazine. Edwin Faughn © 2002
